Hey there;

We have succesfullya completed all of our trekking and tonight is our last night in Nepal. Our treks were wonderful and we will post more about that and photos later. We are all busily trying to fit all of our purchases from Sri Lanka, India, and Nepal into a space that could probably only hold the purchases from one of those countries. So we will have so see how heavy the bags. I really will feel bad watching alanna carrying all of our heavy gifts!

Tomorrow or your today we fly out on Royal Nepal Airline Corp or as all of the locals refer to it as Really Nervewracking Always Cancelled. Really quite assuring. Every single person who hears that we are flying out with RNAC looks at us in horror, starts laughing and shoots up a quick prayer for us. . Whay you might ask?

Well for starters all of their splanes are in disrepair and so they are down to only one plane that flies back and forth to Bankok, In an attempt to fix the situation the airline conducted a special ceremony and had a goat slain on the runway in an attempt to appease the ariplane gods. This failed to awork aand so a week later they did the whole thing all over again. Perhaps a yak, or yeti will be next. Needless to say stories such as these do not inspire the greatest of confidence.

Hopefully you will hear back from us that things went well.

Flying on a wing and a prayer
